I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Louisiana State University and am a licensed clinical social worker in Illinois. Additionally, I hold a masters certificate in LGBT Studies from Northern Illinois University. I have previously worked in the areas of education, inpatient psychiatric medicine, and outpatient community mental health. I utilize various treatment modalities, including cognitive restructuring, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and EMDR. I enjoy working with individuals across the lifespan with a specific interest in maternal mental health.
