Curiosity. Empowerment. Humor.
These 3 values are the pillars of my therapeutic practice. As a clinician, I strive to sit across from everyone with a genuine sense of curiosity; about who they are and how I might be able to help them reconnect with the truth of their being. I believe that we are more than our experiences, habits and reactions and that cultivating our sense of self empowers us to live vibrant, healthy lives. While humor may not be a tool exclusive to the therapeutic environment,
I think they were on to something when they said that laughter is the best medicine.
In addition to having a master’s degree in social work, I also have a master’s degree in management. I have managed nonprofit organizations that served individuals experiencing substance use disorders and domestic violence. I also worked in domestic infant adoption. I am a passionate member of and advocate for the LGBTQIA community as well as a Reiki Master. I work with individuals of all ages and look forward to walking alongside you as you give yourself permission to learn, grow and heal.
